1 in 4 girls and 1 in 13 boys in the U.S. experience sexual abuse before the age of 18, actual numbers may be higher.
1 in 7 children face physical abuse annually.
Millions suffer emotional abuse, often overlooked but equally damaging.
Survivors face depression, PTSD, substance abuse, and suicidal ideation.
Abuse also affects survivors’ beliefs about themselves and their relationships.
Many are unable to speak up due to feelings of fear, shame, and isolation.
Traditional methods fail to resonate with all survivors, leaving many without effective support.
Childhood abuse is a widespread and often hidden issue, leaving millions of survivors struggling with deep emotional scars and lifelong challenges. Despite the alarming prevalence, societal stigma and fear prevent many from seeking help or speaking out.
A song that speaks directly to the emotions of those who have endured childhood abuse, promoting empowerment, unity and global outreach.
Partner with musicians, filmmakers, organizations, and awareness campaigns to amplify the message and reach millions of survivors.
Use music to spark open conversations about abuse and its effects.
We are creating a collaborative musical project that addresses the emotional and psychological impact of childhood abuse. Our vision extends beyond the music itself, including resources, workshops, and multimedia integration to ensure the message is heard and felt in meaningful ways.
Sometimes, the most powerful collaborations are written by something greater than us, a divine orchestration of hearts, healing, and purpose.
We met in Adam Roa’s Brand Building for Creatives program. On February 15th, 2024, Cassidy saw Choralina on a group video call and felt an unshakable pull in her spirit.
Cassidy sent a message that said:
“Hey Choralina! I would love to connect with you. We have very similar visions, and I feel deep within that we are meant to meet.”
That message sparked something that neither of us could’ve anticipated, a reunion of two souls with a shared mission.
During their first conversation, Cassidy shared a vision of uniting artists in a movement to create awareness, much like We Are The World, a musical collaboration that awakened hearts and transformed lives. As she spoke, Choralina’s eyes lit up. “I think I have that song,” she said. “I’ve had this vision for over a decade… and I wrote a song that could be it.”
The song was Speak Up, an anthem born from Choralina’s personal journey of surviving childhood abuse and reclaiming her voice. Written as a powerful release and a declaration of healing, the song gave voice to the pain, shame, and silence so many carry. She had always known it was meant for something bigger, a message for the world.
Cassidy was stunned. The first person she shared her vision with not only had the same mission… but already had the song. Still, the vision was so big, we both hesitated. Could we really do this?
In time, the answer became clear. Cassidy began seeing the ripple effects of childhood abuse all around her, in clients, in loved ones, in quiet confessions. She saw the cost of silence. She witnessed the power of finally speaking. And with that, she reached out to Choralina again and said, “It’s time. This song needs to be heard.”
We knew in our hearts: Speak Up isn’t just a song… it’s a movement.
Now, we’re on a mission to bring Speak Up to the world as a global anthem of empowerment, giving a voice to survivors of childhood abuse and reminding every listener: you are not alone, your story matters, and healing is possible!
This is just the beginning.
